The proud mother has treated us all to adorable baby pictures just as baby Luca celebrates 2-weeks of life.

She shared some pictures via Twitter Tuesday evening of the adorable little guy.

Hilary Duff Has Baby Boy

Hilary Duff has given birth to a healthy baby boy, Luca Cruz Comrie.

The petite mother gave birth to baby Luca, Tuesday evening and took to Twitter today to announce the big news.

Welcome to the World Luca Cruz Comrie! Tuesday evening, we became proud parents of a healthy 7 pound 6 ounce beautiful boy. We are overjoyed and feel like the luckiest parents in the world. He is surrounded by so much love!! Mom and baby are both doing extremely well.

This is the first child for Hilary and her retired-hockey hubby, Michael Comrie.

I love that show and will forever be a fan of Hilary Duff even if I never see another thing she does or read a single book she writes. Well, Disney might not be bringing back Lizzie McGuire anytime soon, but here is a Christmas photo of Hilary Duff to make up for that.

That being said, can I just say that it is incredibly weird for me to see pictures of her pregnant. I just keep thinking, "She's still a child! She can't be pregnant!" I don't care if Hilary Duff is in her 20s and married, when I look at her I will always think of the young, klutzy and at times awkward, Lizzie McGuire.

Despite the title of this post, nobody in this post was killed by heels or Hilary Duff. Rather, this post calls to question the footwear choice of the pregnant Hilary Duff while grocery shopping.

Is this woman crazy?! Who goes grocery shopping in heels?

I don't even wear shoes like that on the 2 days a year I get out my fancy clothes (trips to Magic Castle). On the contrary, I stick to 2 inch heels without stiletto and/or platform; yet my feet are begging for release from that prison before the night is even finished.

Grant it, my heels by whatever brand is available at Ross at the date of purchase are very likely crappy compared to the designer brands the celebs wear, but I doubt the shoes Mrs. Comrie-Duff is wearing can provide the comfort and ease offered by Keds, Reef flip-flops, or TOMS (my shoes of choice).
