Guess the famous face under the face paint!

Don't let the paint scare you, I'm pretty sure the man beneath the paint is a quite lovely person and you probably crushed on him at some point, especially in your high school years. He stole my heart when he took Jamie Sullivan to the stateline. Gah! Tears erupt just thinking of that movie :,(

He currently stars on a CW drama (CW drama is redundant, I know) in which he plays some character I don't know because I haven't watched the CW in a very long time. However, I do know that Devon Sawa has guest starred on the show and the two have a very obvious bromance over Twitter.

Once a child actor, he now works mostly behind the cameras, including directing episodes for such series as It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and the Emmy awarded winning Modern Family (note: the above picture was tweeted by a star of Modern Family).

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from a snooty junior university, but I can't hold that against him because he starred in my absolute favorite movie of all time. I can't hate someone connected to that masterpiece, even if I don't agree with the choices he makes as an adult.

Still not sure? Well you might have been just a little too young to remember his most popular television role, but you will definitely remember his brother. He even directed some episodes of his brothers famous T.G.I.F. show that also starred her.

Sidenote: He happens to be scheduled to appear on the Thrilling Adventure Hour in November that my fabulous friend got us tickets to. Eep! So excited :D

Happy Birthday...?

Guess who is celebrating a birthday today...

As a child, she guest starred on both Clarissa Explains It All and Pete and Pete, two of the best Nickelodeon shows, ever.

Today, she makes an occasional appearance in the Upper East Side and lends her voice to Robot Chicken, among other things.

I think I'm gonna mix it up a bit on the Who Am I? segment. Instead of just having celebrity children, I am also going to start including pets and recent pictures of celebs we haven't seen in a while. Since some of you rely heavily on the clues, then the change should not effect your ability to guess, so no complaining, please.

To begin:

-Pictured on the left is Candace Cameron Bure (that'd be this little hockey player's mom), and on the right is an actress who guest starred on Bure's claim-to-fame show.

-"I saw the sign, and it opened up my eyes. I saw the sign."

-Even though she has a quite full resume, I will always remember her as the best friend and bad influence to Bure's onscreen middle sister.

-Ironically, she has had a quite boring (i.e. drama-free) public life whereas her former onscreen best friend has had her fair share of drama including a drug addiction and (so far) 2 failed marriages.

I debated for quite some time over whether I should edit this next photo to crop out the famous mom, but I ultimately decided to keep her in for two reasons: 1) I'm not confident in your ability to recognize her/remember her name, and 2) On the chance you do remember her name, there is still a great possibility you won't remember who she is married to.

So prove me wrong.

1) Mom (pictured above) just filmed the 100th episode of her hit TNT crime-show drama
2) Dad's film credits are too numerous to count. Many of his movies are large ensemble pieces, including this years Crazy, Stupid, Love and X-Men: First Class
3) I totally went to the studio where The Closer (see hint 1) is filmed last summer and saw famous hubby drive into the studio lot, which basically means I'm 6-degrees of separation from EVERYONE!
4) Married September 4, 1988 --I include this mainly because that is a major feat that should be acknowledged and appreciated

Not gonna lie, I've been pretty disappointed with your overall inability to identify these children. Now, I can't blame you entirely. I realize that my clues have been sometimes too vague and that I shouldn't expect you to all have the same obsessive knowledge of celebrities. Thus, I shall try and give more clues within my clues to help you. However, I stand by the fact that my clues for the last Who Am I? were superbly written and you should all be disappointed in yourselves since my mom figured it out on the first clue alone.

1) Our mom first garnered fame when she explained it all as the lead in a popular Nickelodeon sitcom in the early 90s.
2) She then spent 7 years as a teenage witch before briefly retiring from the role as lead in a sitcom.
3) In 2010 she returned to TV and joined a male 90s TV star on a new ABC Family sitcom that shares both their names.
