Matthew Lewis And His Mustache

Here is some Matthew Lewis mustache for your pleasure. Consider it my apology for the last two months of the silent treatment.

@Mattdavelewis
The moustache is in full flow tonight. Here he is doing his impression of Bill Paxton in True Lies. #sleazy pic.twitter.com/LT8n96Gz

I know it doesn't make up for the unexplained silence, but I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me.

And here is Mr. Longbottom Lewis showing off his new wheels
@MattdavelewisSaturday morning rehearsals. Having a wheely good time...pic.twitter.com/xJSFYf2X

"Wheely good time" hahahaha. I would say LOL, but I didn't actually laugh out loud, I laughed inside my head, so "hahahaha" seems more truthful. LIMH is also appropriate.

Sister, Sister Reunion

Oh heeeeyyyyy!

via @TiaMowry

Tia and Tamara Mowry recently met up with Sister, Sister co-star Marques Houston at the first birthday party of Cree Cree.

Doesn't seeing the three together bring back happy memories of The WB? Also, doesn't it make you smile when you see that Marques grew out of that kind of awkward Roger stage and is looking mighty fine today?

This begs the question, will we ever see a Sister, Sister reunion? I suppose watching Tia and Tamara's reality show is kind of like watching a reunion, but seeing more of the costars in a sit-com scripted (not reality show scripted) environment would be fun in that "re-living my 90's glory days" sort of way. I miss my 90s glory days.

Thrilling Adventures with Yvette Nicole Brown, Fat Tony, Bender, and a Genie in the bottle

Another Thrilling Adventure has come and gone, and I have pictures to share.

April's show was so funny, per usual. Brand new Sparks Nevada, Captain Laserbeam, and Beyond Belief with guest stars JK Simmons, Zachary Levi, Yvette Nicole Brown, Jenny Wade, Joe Mantegna, and Chris Hardwick. The show was jam packed with adventure, appropriately placed pauses, line after line of alliteration recited at great speed, and, of course, so much laughter my cheeks were sore after the show. Overall, a great performance and a star-studded after-show gathering.

Last month, Angel declared she was no longer going to do the crazy fandom thing with autographs and pictures because she felt like our now regular occurrence at the show meant we needed to act more mature and put-together. Well I made it very clear that I have no qualms with being a fan and that will likely never change, so I went full steam ahead through the crowd looking for a new face to talk to. Angel followed because she is supportive of her friends, and our first encounter of the evening was with Yvette Nicole Brown, currently starring as Shirley on Community.
First of all, she was fabulous in Sparks Nevada as a hard-drive defragmenting ace. Secondly, she is so ridiculously nice and sweet in person! She asked us our names and how we were doing, chit chatted with us like no big deal. She totally has aced the "I'm no different from you" mantra and I fully appreciate her genuine niceness. After the show I tweeted about the show and how great it was to meet her, and the next morning I find that she has replied.
This only re-enforces my argument that Yvette Nicole Brown is one of the nicest people in Hollywood (and outside for that matter).

After that friendly encounter, Angel declared "I LOVE HER!" and she admitted that she was not above acting like fans and seeking more pictures. So, she lead the way to get a picture with John Di Maggio, Joe Mantegna, and Thomas Gibson.

John is part of the regular cast. He is Captain Laserbeam and performs as one of Los Tres Banditos in Sparks Nevada. We have talked to him before but Saturday was the first picture together. Joe Mantegna played a mafia-ish guy (shock, I know) in Beyond Belief which was hilarious this week. JK Simmons (not pictured, sadly) had this amazing theme song that he sang "I'm a genie in the bottle..." that I can't help but continue to hum along to. I really want that song as a download. As for Thomas Gibson, he didn't perform, he just enjoyed the show from the audience. He also happened to sit in front of Angel and slightly block her view, but that is totally something you brag about later and don't get upset about.

Lastly, we got a picture with Chris Hardwick.
He has performed a couple of the times that we have attended, but he always is so quick at getting through the crowd in the patio that it wasn't until Saturday that we were finally able to catch him. And, speaking of Chris Hardwick, founder of Nerdist.com, as of today there is a new Thrilling Adventure Hour podcast available, so check it out.

Luna Lovegood Is A Gryffindor

I know I have said it before, but I will say it again, Evanna Lynch is one awesome Harry Potter star/fan, and a worthwhile tweeter to follow.

Here is the most recent tweet that got me thinking, "why isn't Evanna Lynch my BFF?"
@Evy_Lynch That awkward moment when your bro asks you can he have your Gryffindor boxers. But he can't cos you're saving them for your future hubby. :o

Evanna Lynch, the actress who plays the eccentric and wise Luna Lovegood (a true Ravenclaw), is a Gryffindor. I absolutely support that. One of the comments to her tweet reads "@abandon_hip: @Evy_Lynch You're my favorite because you're just as big a Potterhead as the rest of us. <3" and it is true!

The advantage she has is that, as a star of the franchise, she gets to go to all the parties and premieres. I shall continue to live vicariously through her.

Happy New Year!

I realize it is already MLK Jr. Day and thus the new year is already 16 days begun, but remember, it is never too late for a new start.

January = awards shows!

That's right, it is that time of the year where celebrities congregate in one place thus forcing us normal looking people into a spiral of diminishing self-esteem. On the bright side, it is also that awkward time of the year when you learn who really is a good/bad actor/actress based on the reaction to winning and/or losing an award. That was a lot of back slashes, my apologies.

To begin this wonderful season of designer dresses, fake smiles, and horrid diets, check out this slideshow of Tweets from celebs at the 2012 Golden Globes last night at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. Rest assured, it is actually filled with more star-struck moments, real smiles, and photo bombs than that other depressing stuff.

Now, have you ever wondered what one does after winning a People's Choice Award?

The obvious answer might be, party it up at the after-parties! However, for Nina Dobrev, the PCA winner for Favorite TV Drama Actress for her role in The Vampire Diaries, the answer is grab a burger on the way out of town to get back to work. Poor girl had to be back in Georgia for filming and didn't even have time to change before hopping on a plane out of Los Angeles.
Notice how her dress matches the new layout of the website, nice!

As for Demi Lovato, my favorite little pop artist, she headed to Vegas the next morning where she then took a helicopter to the Grand Canyon.
It was a "so random" day for her (get it, So Random! hahaha, I crack myself up).

The best news from the People's Choice Awards is that Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II walked away a big winner! More on Harry Potter and Daniel Radcliffe coming soon :)

Brenda Song To Wed, Probably Without Baby

The Disney almost-princess (she never actually had her own show, so she is whatever is beneath a princess. I'm American, so I don't have to know what that royal business is) Brenda Song is gonna wed her future baby's daddy, Trace Cyrus. Remember in August when people went cray-cray over Brenda Song pregnancy rumors? Well those rumors were probably false so those cray-cray look even more cray-cray. Overreacting over false allegations, phesh, silly people.

Well, Song and Cyrus are now engaged! It was even confirmed by Trace on his personal twitter, and later by sister Miley.

Congrats to Trace Cyrus and Brenda Song and the use of social media to announce big things.

GO SOCIAL MEDIA!

Demi Lovato And Her Goofy Hat

It has been a while since I posted on someone not related to Harry Potter or my teenage dreams. I apologize for the lack of diversity, but I like what I like and I'm not ashamed of that.

But...even I like a break from the norm every so often, and so I give you a Demi Lovato update. I suppose technically this is predictable since I do have quite an archive on Demi Lovato posts.

Oh well, AT LEAST I'M POSTING!

Demi tweeted the above photo on Friday with the caption: "Favorite thing about traveling... Goofy souvenirs :D "

I love to see how great she is doing. She seems so happy and young, just before the picture she tweeted about eating a blue ring pop and susbsequently discovering herself to have a blue month and toungue saying, "Man this is embarrassing." I love that down-to-earth, eaveryday girl vibe she emits. And she is just so stickin' beautiful.

Demi has been pretty busy promoting her new album, Unbroken, and tickets to her mini tour A Special Night with Demi Lovato went on sale Friday. Girlfriend has come a long way since her emotional crash last October on tour with the JoBros. Love to see the growth and strength.

Don't forget to listen to the emotional first single, Skyscraper.

Always rooting for Demi.

Matthew Lewis Is My Future Husband

I've missed blogging.

Fortunately, one of my classes has just ended and suddenly my evenings have opened :D

So here is one of my favorite wizards to bring in this new wave of posts.

Don't you just melt when you see that half grin smile? So, My Future Husband (MFH) posts a lot about some British teams and sport I don't understand, but I have recently asked a Brit to translate the tweets so that MFH and I might share a bond over it, so I'll keep you posted. For now, let me explain that the picture is of him holding some cup/trophy that some team from some sport won. Capisci?

Notice that celebratory beer by his foot? That was accompanied by many more, me thinks, and my poor wittle Mafew woke up with a hangover. The night before presenting at an awards show is probably not the best night to party hard, but when your team wins how can you resist?

The next day Matt presented with Tom Felton at the British, Radio 1 Teen Awards. And after the event he tweeted the following:
Bloody hell, there were thousands of you. And you're really loud. I specifically told you I was hungover. Cheers for the reception though. X
Man, how I likey this one.

In other news, Matt took to Twitter last week to discuss puberty.
I'm still confused as to why people keep talking about me and puberty in the same sentence. I'm 22. Ta
Umm...duh, because those fake teeth in Harry Potter hid your post-puberty gorgeousness from us.

Matt continued by explaining: "No, no, no. Puberty made me greasy and miserable. At 14. The gym and my dentist were kind to me. At 22. Getz?"

And...since we are on the topic puberty...

Tom Felton Appreciates Where He Came From

The Harry Potter posts continue!

This is partially because I realize this may be the only chance I have to do so since the movie franchise is now complete, but also because the series has kind of been a big part of my life. I've seen Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, twice already and I am confident there will be many more movie watches and book readings as I refuse to say good-bye. I secretly dreamed of being an extra in one of the movies or in at least experiencing the hype and mayhem of a movie premiere, and yet all those dreams have been officially shattered. It is ok though, because I can live vicariously through the stars thanks to Twitter.

Tom Felton
recently shared a picture of him and original Harry Potter director, Chris Columbus. Tom had kind words to say about the man who directed the first two movies of the record shattering franchise.
i have everything to thank this guy for, chris was responsible for me being part of this epic journey x
I greatly appreciate that the stars seem very grateful for the experience they have had through the franchise, and it says a lot that the original cast has kept at it through the whole journey. The general lack of drama and scandal from the cast has been quiet refreshing and only adds to the appeal of the franchise.

In a semi related note, Tom also posted this picture of himself at a Five Guys Restuarant.
I'm waiting and waiting but no one has come to pick me up
And by semi-related note, I mean I had Five Guys for lunch today after a morning spent at the theatre watching Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. Clearly, Tom and I are like meant for each other. Gah, I like this fellow. Alas, he is happily in a longterm relationship with a woman named Jade. Yet another dream of mine shattered. If you are interested in seeing her, she plays SPOILER ALERT wife to Draco in the epilogue of the series (that role came after thier relationship began, though I think I read on imdb that they did meet on set of an earlier HP movie).

Neville Longbottom Is All Grown Up

Mmmhmmm, doesn't Mr. Longbottom look grown up at the New York premiere? Thank you, @HarryPotterFilm for reminding us how these child actors have grown up to be quite attractive adults.

I used Neville Longbottom instead of Matthew Lewis's real name because I figure you'd be like, "Who is Matthew Lewis? Why should I know who this eye candy is?" By using Neville Longbottom, I believe all questions are answered. If you are now thinking, "psh, paaaahhh-leeeeez! I know who Matthew Lewis is!" Well then, I apologize for underestimating your Harry Potter fandom.

So in case you haven't noticed, Matthew Lewis is no longer the awkward first year always losing his frog and constantly being taunted or teased. No ma'am, in film and in real life, Matthew Lewis has grown up to be a pretty good looking English lad. Let's not forget how Neville plays a pretty important role in destroying he-who-must-not-be-named. If you want to see an even better picture of Matthew all grown up, check him out here. That sounds like I'm going to lead you to some porn site, but I promise it is just a link to imdb.

Now, since looks are totally superficial, let me take this opportunity to share with you why I crush on this young man, based entirely on his tweets.

He totally gets star struck: "In the British Airways lounge. Heading to New York shortly. But right now I'm staring at @JohnCleese like a weirdo. He is unaware."

He has good taste in TGIF sitcoms: "Defs got a picture with Sabrina the Teenage Witch last night. Yes mate"

He is sensitive/not afraid to cry: "Well, that was emotional. Alan Rickman had me in actual tears in the cinema. What a performance. Good work team."

He is not big headed and appreciates his fans: "100,000 followers? What the hell. You're all mad. I'm boring as. However, I'll try to be wittier and more affable from now on. Cheers. X"

And, in case it was not yet evident, he has a sense of humor:

Tom Felton Surprises Fans With Pizza

I love me some Tom Felton. Despite his 10-year run as Harry Potter's nemesis, Draco Malfoy, Tom has proven himself to be a pretty stand-up guy. Remember that time he talked me out of hating Twi-Hards for the recent MTV Movie Award disappointment? Well, earlier this week he proved himself once again to be a delightful fella' when he surprised some fans in New York with pizza. The fans were camping out along the streets of New York, hoping to catch a glimpse of the Harry Potter stars when they were quiet pleasantly surprised.

How I envy those fans.

Most of the cast of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 have been stateside for the New York premiere and American promotion-fest. Too bad all the action is in New York, on the inferior American coast (I speak in jealousy and rage). Fortunately, stars like Tom Felton are kind enough to keep us all in the loop via his Twitter feed!

Of delivering the pizza, Tom tweeted: "hope everyone who camped out is ok! sorry i couldn't get pizzas to all of you i was getting told to leave!x" He later added "i enjoyed my role as pizza delivery boy last night!"

Tom also shared this picture of him and Daniel Radcliffe (and Rupert in the background) with the caption: "Myself and Radcliffe after the show! Sad to be parting ways!"
It's got to be weird to think that next year there won't be a crazy media fest or another movie that will bring this group together again. I liken it to when I moved out of Berkeley and realized there would be no more dinners at The Castle or late nights/early mornings spent studying by the fireplace. Change can be so sad.

I feel your sadness, Harry Potter cast.

Fans Believe In Demi Lovato

Seriously, I feel like justjaredjr right now with all this Disney star related news.

Demi Lovato has some devoted and loving fans. On March 10 Demi hacked her sister Dallas' twitter to say hi to fans and to make them laugh with some cropped photos of her face on various bodies.

To show Demi that they love her, this morning her fans had YouAreBeautifulDemi trending on Twitter. The Camp Rock 2 News Twitter (@CR2News) posted several old images of Demi smiling and having fun with family and friends, and a fan made video We Believe In Demi has been circulating.

Here is what the video, posted by 4everfanjonas, description says about the video:
Project #1
so @CR2News had this idea and told me. So as you may know, Demi hasn't always been very confident about herself and that's why she wrote Believe In Me.
So @Rooociioo and @CR2News made this video to show her that WE do believe in her.
This video will be made of pictures of her fans, her friends and family.

Seriously, those are some fabulous fans. And the song, LOVE it. I wish I had fans like that.

Jelena

Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber have, more or less, officially come out as a couple. Before it was just paparazzo photos taken with long telephotos lens from behind a bush that we used as evidence of the couple. However, at the Vanity Fair Oscars party they walked the red carpet together and even re-tweeted the above photo of them together at the event.

I wonder if this coming out is Selena's birthday present to Justin. In the celebrity world, stepping out together on a red carpet might be the closest we get to an official statement. I mean, that's pretty big. So, happy 17th birthday Justin!

Of course, this also means that Selena's life is back in danger as I'm sure there were loyal Bieber fanatics who still held on to the hope that the two were "just friends." Wow, that is some big risk and sacrifice she is making, it must be love.

Twitter Round Up: Miley Cyrus Parties With Adam Lambert

For the record, Miley Cyrus is my least favorite of the super-3 Disney tweens (I'm totally coining that phrase). However, she is always out and about doing something with someone so I can't help but post her business all up on here.

Here is Miley having fun with Mr. Adam Lambert at some event I know nothing about, but thanks to Twitter we can all pretend like it was some wild Hollywood party and pass the personal photo off as one of our own. "Oh yeah! Adam, Miley and I totally rocked that party, see this photo I took at the party? It's totally legit, we are like BFFs!"

But wait, there is more!!
Lindsay Lohan defends herself once again, John Stamos returns to Glee, Adam Lambert has some fun with Miley Cyrus, and Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift rock Asia.

Celebs and their kids looking adorable: James Van Der Beek

James Van Der Beek and wife Kimberly Brook welcomed their first child in September and since then JVDB's Twitter page has been sprinkled with loving mentions of his daughter. Additionally, adorable pictures have surfaced of the two (including the one above from Kimberly's Twitter) and I'm reminded of all the reasons why I love Dawson Leery. Guys who talk endlessly of their new child are so hot.

For your additional enjoyment, here is a Funny or Die video JVDB made earlier this year that pokes fun at Dawson Leery and how that caring and sensitive, boy next door set new standards for how a boyfriend is expected to be.

Kristen Bell makes Never Say Never look cool

Not gonna lie, I'm kind of interested in seeing Justin Bieber's movie Never Say Never. At first I wanted to start that statement with "I'm ashamed to admit..." but then I remembered that I don't have any beef with the Biebs. He is really talented and has a good time making fun of himself.

Though the hair and the phrase "bieber fever" make me want to throw bricks at people, I otherwise am quite fine with this Bieber trend.

And, if Kristen Bell can wave her Bieber glow stick proudly, than so can I.

Aaron Carter and Demi Lovato ?

.

Back in January Aaron Carter entered a rehab facility for "spiritual" reasons. I won't knock him for rehab, I think it's a bold step for someone to seek help. I will, however, laugh uncontrollably at the idea of him and Demi Lovato. And then, I will cry a little when I remember that 10 years ago I would have given anything to be with him. Don't get me wrong, I like the guy enough these days to read his tweets on occasion and to hum his songs more often than I care to admit, but after the whole Hilary Duff and Lindsay Lohan scandal I was put off by his bad-boy ways. It is for this reason that I do not approve of Daaron.

Fret not, for Daaron is but a young man's fantasy. Aaron Carter recently took to his Twitter account to announce his current interest in recent rehab-graduate, Demi Lovato, describing her as "freaking smoking hott!!." Damn, two -t's and two -!, this boy is serrious!!He's willing to wait quite some time for her to come around, too. "Don't think my interest with Demi Lovato is gonna end anytime soon! I'm patient (definition) capable of accepting delay with equanimity." That's good, especially since he tweeted just two days ago that he wanted to remain single for a while.

What do you think of an Aaron and Demi match?

To be fair, Demi did date Trace Cyrus, so maybe Aaron has a shot. I'm not sure anyone can tame a player, except the player himself, but I'll let Aaron go ahead and dream. We are all entitled to our dreams. After all, I wouldn't want anyone to tell me I can't be with Lee Pace.
